SPM Communications adds another growing restaurant brand to its client roster with Houston-based
Salata, The Next Generation Salad Bar concept that specializes in tossed-to-order salads and wraps made from a selection of more than 50 different fresh ingredients and signature house-made dressings, soups and sauces.
SPM, a 14-year-old Dallas-based PR firm with expertise in restaurant, food and retail brands, represents national and regional clients including Chipotle Mexican Grill, Michaels Stores, CiCi's Pizza, Van's Natural Foods, Stubb's Legendary Bar-B-Q and Bruegger's Bagels.
Salata offers a wide array of lettuces, vegetables, beans, fruits, cheeses, seeds and nuts along with house-made dressings and a great selection of grilled chicken (including pesto, chipotle or herb-marinated) and seafood (shrimp, baked salmon and more). Guests select the ingredients, and the staff members make and toss each salad or wrap to perfection for full flavor in every bite.
Founded in 2005 by restaurateur Berge Simonian and business partner Tony Kyoumjian, the growing Salata chain now includes 20 locations in Houston, Dallas and Southern California. The company has signed deals to open 40 more stores within the next two to three years.
