LONDON, ENGLAND, November 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The financial trading site, SpreadBets, has introduced a brand new spread betting charts guide. The guide, introduced last week, has been released in response to the ongoing increase in the popularity of financial spread betting.

The growth of the financial derivative can probably be put down to a range of factors. Perhaps it is because investors are looking at new ways of investing due to the current financial crisis, perhaps it is due to the increased publicity which it is receiving.

Many, however, feel that it is due to the range of ways in which traders can speculate via spread betting. Like many derivatives, traders can trade on a wide range of spread betting markets, including commodities, shares, stock markets and forex rates.

Investors can also trade on a range of devices. Although the ability to financial spread bet online has been around for some time now, recent innovations have freed spread bettors from the office. Spread betting on handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets is now widely available.

The debate goes on as to whether spread betting is a better option than more traditional forms of trading; due to the nature of spread betting, risks are higher, meaning losses can exceed the initial deposit.

However one thing is certain: spread betting is quickly becoming more popular, and that's why spread betting site, SpreadBets.org.uk, have launched a brand new guide to using financial spread betting charts, according to editor James White.

"Since launching SpreadBets.org.uk four years ago, we've witnessed a sizeable increase in the popularity of spread betting," he said. "That's why we've introduced this new guide for charts; to help the increasing number of spread bettors who use technical analysis."

For those investors who are less familiar with charts the new guide looks at the basics of how to use charts, how to draw lines on charts and how to save/print charts.

For the more experienced investors there is a section that takes an in-depth look at technical analysis. This section of the guide provides information on areas such as support/resistance levels, trading with the trend, moving averages, Bollinger bands and parabolic SAR.

"At www.SpreadBets.org.uk we always try to assist all levels and all types of spread bettor," continued White, "which is why this latest guide has something for everyone; from the novice investor right up to the experienced trader.

About SpreadBets

Spread betting was introduced to the UK market by Stuart Wheeler's IG Index. It has witnessed a large increase in popularity over the past 10 years.

The new section on http://www.spreadbets.org.uk contains basic information on spread betting charts however it also covers support levels, resistance levels, simple moving averages (MA), exponential moving averages (EMA), trading with the trend, parabolic SAR, Bollinger bands, MACD, RSI and volatility. SpreadBets also regularly reviews a range of spread betting accounts from different such as Financial Spreads.

Investors should note that spread betting carries a high degree of risk and because you can lose more than your initial deposit, it might not be appropriate for all investors.

Anyone trading via spread betting should appreciate the risks that are involved, only speculate with money that they can afford to lose and, where required, seek independent financial advice.
