Demonstrating 11 years of professional experience, Starla K. Criser is a talented and accomplished author with a particular focus on romantic fiction. Currently working toward full-time authorship, she already has an impressive repertoire of published material. Operating under the pennames, Starla Kaye and S.K. Fero, her most popular works include "Executive Decision," "Ranch Heat," "Tug of Love," "If You Loved Me" and "Buying Trouble." Her most recent work, "So Wrong, So Right" is slated for release in August through Red Rose Publishing. In addition to her nine full-length works, Ms. Criser has written sixteen novellas and a number of short stories including "Hell to Pay," published in 1999 in Short Stories Magazine.

A graduate of Wichita State University, Ms. Criser holds a bachelor's degree in gerontology. She serves as president of the Wichita Area Romance Authors (WARA), and is a member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA) and the Kansas Writers Association. When she's not writing, Ms. Criser can be found managing the office of Criser and Mardis, Chartered and performing as community relations coordinator for Criser, Gough & Parrish, LLC, a full-service tax, accounting and consulting firm. Within the Wichita community, Ms. Criser has volunteered with Senior Services, Inc. for thirteen years, has written a monthly newsletter for a senior group for fourteen years, and is on the board of Music Theatre of Wichita.
