/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Stephen Kalyta, National Director, Division Head Operations of Wind Mobile, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in telecommunications.
Mr. Kalyta, who has more than two decades of experience as an executive, has been the national director of the head operations division for Wind Mobile for the past four years. The firm is one of the nation's leading providers of mobile and wireless products, including smartphones, Internet and wireless plans and small business services. In his leadership role with the company, Mr. Kalyta is responsible for overseeing all profit and loss aspects for the supply chain across Canada in the network and commercial divisions. He also creates strategic plans, oversees operations and supervises process re-engineering.
Prior to his current role with Wind Mobile, Mr. Kalyta filled a number of key positions with leading companies, including serving as international operations and logistics director for SkyLink Ukraine, manager for TNT Logistics, PwC consultant for IBM Canada, marketing manager for Delano Technology Corp. and managing director for Foresight Financial.
An active member of the field, Mr. Kalyta is certified as a professional logistician from the Canada Logistics Institute. During his long career, he has earned a reputation for being a dynamic, results-oriented business professional with expertise in logistics. Mr. Kalyta attributes his success in the industry to his background as a logistics expert and commissioned officer in the military. In the next five years, he would like to move into a position in the international supply operations field as an executive expatriate living in a safe second-world country.
A military veteran, Mr. Kalyta earned an associate degree in science and engineering and a bachelor's degree in business administration at Royal Military College before embarking on his successful business career. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Kalyta is a dedicated community member who works with a wide range of nonprofit organizations. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
