/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Tanya Y. Coplin, Management Assistant with the United States Department of The Treasury's Bureau of the Public Debt, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in governmental administration.
Ms. Coplin has dedicated the past 35 years to ensuring that operations of the Treasury's Bureau of the Public Debt ("BPD") run smoothly. She knows the Bureau inside and out, front to back and is often the person other employees seek out when in need of answers. She not only manages and coordinates the daily activities of the Assistant Commissioner, she prepares and reviews documents, directs calls, oversees assistants, and coordinates office correspondence. She is the three-time recipient of the Patriotic Recognition Award and was also honored with the Superior Performance Award, the On-the-Spot Award and the Outstanding Service Award. She attributes her success and longevity to her reliability, integrity and the support she receives from her colleagues.
Outside the office, Ms. Coplin indulges her interest in history by acting as curator of the Beauchamp-Newman Museum, located in the most historic building in Wirt County, WV. She is Former Secretary General and Former Auditor of the Blennerhassett Chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and Former Secretary, Former Treasurer, Former Historian and Former Auditor of the Elizabeth Beauchamp Chapter of Daughters of the American Pioneers. She is associate editor of the 'West Virginia History Book,' which was published in 1981.
