At the urging of his bride, family and friends, he published his poem for the public to edit for their use. During the design of his single page website, he discovered other authors willing to share their wedding poetry, non-commercially, for the same reasons—to provide the public with poetic works of romance for their special day.
In four months, Curley's site has grown from a single page to more than 300 pages featuring Wedding Humor, Love Poems, Wedding Poems, Vows, Toasts, Articles and much more with many pages being added every day, all free for the taking for non-commercial use.
In addition to the United States, visitors come from all over the world as far away as Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, South Africa, India and Ireland only to mention a few.
"My site has taken on a life of its own," Curley said. "I had no idea there were so many people writing poetry for couples and so many people needing their works. May of us just need a starting point to write the words that inspire us to demonstrate our feelings toward someone we love. My site, with the help of many talented authors, provides that starting point".
