NICHOLSON, PA, October 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ --Teri L. Foster Edwards, Mathematics Teacher for Mountain View School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in secondary education.

With 28 years of experience as an educator, Ms. Edwards specializes in teaching algebra and geometry. She has devoted most of her career to Mountain View School District. As a math teacher, she teaches geometry and academic algebra and sits on the strategic planning and served on the graduation project committee. She also served as adviser for several classes and coaches the track team. Ms. Edwards found her calling in teaching after being asked to tutor a classmate during ninth grade. She enjoys teaching math and takes particular pride in the caliber of the students with whom she works. She attributes her success to her diligence, enthusiasm and analytical skills, and to the support that she receives from the school's administrators.

Ms. Edwards holds an Equivalent Master's Degree. Her professional affiliations include the Pennsylvania Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
