-- The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced Chef Robert Frye, CEC, ACE as the 2013 commencement speaker. Frye, director of food and beverage at Highland Country Club, will provide the commencement address to the 42 graduates of the December 2012 and March 2013 classes on Saturday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the University of Indianapolis' Ransburg Auditorium, located in Esch Hall at 1400 East Hanna Ave.
"We are proud of the achievements of our culinary and pastry graduates who have taken their skills to a new level with an education from The Chef's Academy," said Ryon Kaopuiki, Indianapolis campus president for The Chef's Academy. "We are extremely proud to celebrate our 11th graduating class, as these students will develop and pursue their culinary and pastry careers in the United States and abroad. The level of training that they have received here, combined with excellent externships and mentoring from our chef instructors, will serve them well as they seek to become the top bakers and chefs of tomorrow. I encourage prospective students to take a look at these graduates and know that with the investment of a few years, they can be well on their way to culinary success."
