    MANCHESTER, NH, December 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Guest host Dr. Mark Green, of "One Hour At A Time" on VoiceAmerica's Health & Wellness Channel will be interviewing Dr. Scott Kellogg on December 21st 2009. Dr. Scott Kellogg received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the CUNY Graduate Center, and he is presently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at New York University. He was previously on the faculties of The Rockefeller University, the Yale University School of Medicine, and the Program in Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Teachers College/Columbia University.

Dr. Kellogg is the past President of the Division on Addictions of the New York State Psychological Association (2005, 2001), a board member for the Institute for Professional Development in the Addictions, and a co-director of the Harm Reduction and Mental Health Project at New York University. He is also a leading advocate for Gradualism, a vision of healing that seeks to utilize and integrate the best aspects of the harm reduction, scientific, and traditional treatment approaches.

Having trained in both schema therapy and gestalt therapy, he is currently a psychotherapist and a supervisor at the Schema Therapy Institute. Dr. Kellogg has created the Transformational Chairwork Training program and he is currently teaching this method of psychotherapeutic dialogue to practitioners in both the United States and Europe.

In his writings, he has looked at such topics as addiction treatment, identity theory, trauma and violence, contingency management, harm reduction, and assessment. Dr. Kellogg has also written on schema therapy, borderline personality disorder, and the integration of gestalt techniques in cognitive-behavioral treatment.

About Dr. Mark Green:
Mark is the Medical Director for WestBridge. He obtained his medical degree at the University of London in 1993 and worked in internal medicine for several years before moving to the U.S. He completed his psychiatry residency in 1999 and then a Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry, at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Green was an Assistant Professor at Cornell, working and teaching in dual diagnosis, and a research associate at Rockefeller University where he conducted research in the clinical neurobiology of addictive disease. In 2003, he relocated to the University of Vermont to become the first medical director of Vermont's first methadone clinic. Dr. Green moved to Massachusetts in 2004. In addition to his responsibilities at WestBridge, Dr. Green teaches at Harvard Medical School and participates in Psychiatric training programs, lectures on topics in Dual Diagnoses and publishes articles on neurobiology, collaborative psychopharmacology, and clinical management issues.
