The MasterGuard Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund Awarded to Lacey Moore of Texas
Each year, our nation loses approximately 100 firefighters in the line of duty. Often times, these heroes leave families who need help to pursue their dreams.
COPPELL, TX, October 29, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Through the sale of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms, MasterGuard has given over 70 scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen firefighters. Joe Oller, local independent distributor of MasterGuard products delivered the scholarship. "MasterGuard wishes the very best for Lacey as she continues her education and we appreciate the sacrifice made by her father," stated Billy Cox, President of MasterGuard. MasterGuard has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to great causes through their Education Fund. The Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund is a partner program for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Applicants are the children or spouses of a firefighter listed on the Memorial Wall in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
