The Mills House Charleston Hotel Hosts Cast, Crew of Army Wives
Historic Charleston hotels welcome Kim Delaney (NYPD Blue) and Catherine Bell (JAG), stars of Lifetime Network's hit show "Army Wives" which started its second season in June."

    /24-7PressRelease/ - CHARLESTON, SC, July 03, 2008 - The Mills House Hotel, an historic Charleston, SC lodging, recently hosted a group of cast members from the Lifetime Network's hit show "Army Wives" including stars Kim Delaney (NYPD Blue) and Catherine Bell (JAG). The stars were in town to film a Public Service Announcement for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The PSA was produced by Cindy Gengras. During the stay, the production company, Nonfiction Spots, utilized the Charleston hotel's extensive meeting facilities to serve as their offices.

The Mills House Charleston, South Carolina Hotel regularly hosts cast and crew from "Army Wives", which is filmed in town. Along with series regulars, the hotel has been proud to accommodate visiting guest directors including Joanna Kerns, who has directed episodes of NBC's "Scrubs" and "ER" and acted in films such as "Girl, Interrupted". Barbara Eden, best known for her title role in "I Dream of Jeannie", has also stayed at The Mills House as a visiting cast member of the show.

Show lead, Kim Delany, even mentioned The Mills House Hotel, if briefly, in a June 16, 2008 interview conducted on ABC's "The View" with Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg.

"Army Wives" is an hour-long drama produced for the Lifetime Network based on the book originally titled "Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Military Marriage" by Tanya Biank. It follows the story of four wives of military personnel stationed at the fictitious Fort Marshall in Charleston. While the show is fiction, it has been acclaimed for honoring the real-life stories present in the book. "Army Wives" enjoyed the largest series premier in the history of the Lifetime Network and began its second season on June 8, 2008.

The show currently airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. et/pt on the Lifetime Network.
