FORT COLLINS, CO, December 05, 2008
/24-7PressRelease/ -- To help stimulate commerce in northern Colorado and raise money for a great cause, The MLS Store and Colorado Homeowner magazine are providing local businesses the opportunity to "name their price" to purchase discounted advertising space, donate 100 percent of the ad space cost to a local non-profit, get credit for the donation and receive the resulting tax deduction.
Bryan Johnson, CEO of The MLS Store, notes, "I realize that advertising and marketing budgets for businesses big and small have been cut or even eliminated. Because of that I want to offer advertisers the ability to 'name their price' when it comes to the ad and donation amount. One hundred percent of all donations go directly to a great cause, and our intent is that the increased exposure will help stimulate more sales for advertisers in 2009."
First-time Colorado Homeowner advertisers can donate to the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado in support of Mariah's Kids, a local 501c3 non-profit, in lieu of the cost of an ad. The normal cost of a full-page, full-color ad is $1500, and new advertisers will receive a full-page, full-color ad in the magazine for a donation that they deem appropriate to Mariah's Kids.
Advertisers not only receive the ad at the equivalent of a 50 percent discount, with the money benefiting this worthy local cause; but the advertiser also receives credit and the tax deduction for the donation.
Colorado Homeowner and The MLS Store are prepared to provide up to $100,000 in advertising space as part of this special promotion. The January/Winter issue of Colorado Homeowner will be distributed to 10,000 homes and businesses in northern Colorado and along the Front Range. Distribution includes homes valued from $200,000 to more than $1 million, business owners along the Front Range and in the Denver market, local businesses, national hotel chains, high-end spas, book stores, grocery stores, concert venues, The Pepsi Center, luxury suites at the Budweiser Event Center and The MLS Store.
The new Colorado Homeowner issue will feature health and fitness articles from local doctors, personal trainers and alternative medicine practitioners, to help guide readers who have made a commitment to improve their health in the New Year. A feature article will focus on local real estate and business leader Jay Stoner and his building green initiatives. Previous issues have included exclusive interviews, along with articles by Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul), Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad), best-selling author Loral Langemeier and NBA legend Magic Johnson.
