-- The Centers for Disease Control estimate that 1.7 million people sustain a brain injury of some sort each year. These injuries can range from mild to severe, and are often caused by head trauma, including concussions. Additionally, traumatic brain injuries are a contributing factor in as many as a third of injury-related deaths in the United States every year. In order to better serve those with brain injuries, their family members, their friends, and other professionals, the Texas Brain Injury Alliance recently teamed up with Dallas SEO company Advice Interactive Group to launch a new website.
The Texas Brain Injury Alliance has always been a resource for individuals, families, and professionals to learn about brain injuries. Their mission is "to empower and support brain injury survivors, their families, and caregivers with a lifelong and enduring quality of life." More than anything, the Texas Brain Injury Alliance wishes to inform the public about the dangers of brain injuries in an attempt to educate about brain injury prevention.
The Texas Brain Injury Alliance headquarters are located at:
Texas Brain Injury Alliance
316 W. 12th Street, Suite 405
Austin, TX 78701
The new Texas Brain Injury Alliance website contains detailed information on the company, their mission and goals, and the policy issues they stand behind. As always, visitors to the new site will be able to find information regarding brain injury, including resource pages that contain external links to helpful websites and information. The new site also allows visitors to stay connected with the Texas Brain Injury Alliance through social media buttons leading to the Alliance's Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn pages. Users can also connect through the interactive web calendar listing all upcoming events, and they can submit donations through a convenient homepage button.
