/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Understanding the importance of a strong educational foundation, Therese A. Boisvert completed a Bachelor of Science in pre-law studies and political science, with a minor in sociology, as well as a Master of Science in education and library sciences from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Upon graduation, Ms. Boisvert embarked on a career in the health care industry which spanned 26 years. She worked at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital conducting alcohol and drug screening analysis, entering data into medical software systems, and working closely with companies throughout the United States regarding physicals.
Recently, Ms. Boisvert began a new career as an administrative assistant for the Moderator of the Curia and Vicar General for The Roman Catholic Diocese of La Crosse. In her position, she assists the Vicar of Clergy, works closely with the Deacons, and oversees two libraries. Named as Professional Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, Ms. Boisvert also serves on the policy committee for Cathedral Parish Council of Catholic Women. Drawing on her education and past work experience, she has implemented positive change and effective ideas at the parish, which she has belonged to since birth. Attributing her success to the support she received from her parents and older brother, Ms. Boisvert intends to remain steadfast in her position and continue making a difference in the church within the coming years.
