This SharePoint Conference is unique because the focus will be on using SharePoint from the business side of the organization; there will not be an IT Pro or Developer track with technical information. There will be over 30 speakers from well-known profit and non-profit organizations, including Tim Dechant of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Tim has been working with SharePoint for nearly 10 years and is currently the director of Technology at WKKF. He is responsible for directing the administrative, developmental, and operational aspects of technology and has overall responsibility for the information and technical architecture.
His session topic is entitled "How the Kellogg Foundation is using SharePoint's Report Center to Manage Digital Assets." Tim will focus on the features of Report Center and how it has been deployed at the Kellogg Foundation, as well as provide some insight on the power that exists in the standard tools that are available. He will share lessons learned on the journey to make their information more available to decision-makers.
