While air jet tonometers offer reliable and quick diagnosis, often times they are uncomfortable for patients. The FT-1000 is not only fast, but also patient-friendly by providing a very silent and soft air pulse. Optometrists need not worry about pain or unwarranted irritation with the FT-1000. The multi-shot option produces up to three air pulses in an extremely short sequence (0.1 seconds each). Additionally, the FT-1000 includes a color touch screen, which conveniently color-codes all measured values and commands.
