/24-7PressRelease/ -- On December 10th, 2009, The U.S. Marine Corps joined forces with Nova Vita Salon & Spa, as they opened their doors to host their Fifth Annual Toys for Tots, Tweens & Teens toy drive. The Marines spent the day assisting in the collection of new unwrapped toys for the Toys For Tots foundation, while all donors enjoyed hot cocoa, cider, and holiday cookies. As a special gift to those that donated a new unwrapped toy to the toy drive, Nova Vita Salon & Spa offered each donor 20% off of their next round of spa services. The outpouring of support from the Orange County community was overwhelming, with approximately 500 toys (more than 2 truck loads!) of donations being delivered during the event. "I simply cannot believe how many people took time out of their work day to come out and support our toy drive with these generous donations. I hope that each of these donations will bring joy to a child's heart this holiday season", Katerina Bisbikis, owner of Nova Vita Salon & Spa was truly humbled by the amount of generosity the community showed, helping to create her most successful toy drive yet. These toys will go to needy families in the Orange County community who have requested support from the foundation due to extreme financial hardship during this holiday season.The Fifth Annual Toys for Tots, Tweens & Teens toy drive is still on-going until December 21st, 2009. Additional donations can be brought to Nova Vita Salon & Spa, located at 13011 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA, 92780, on Monday's from 10am-7pm & Tuesday-Saturday from 8:30am-8pm.
About Toys for Tots: The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
