villas in Tuscany specialists Tuscany Now, has reversed the trend and announced encouraging US sales and search figures.
Tuscany Now has released September 2012 figures that when compared to the same month last year, show a near 17% increase in US search traffic to its website. Consequently the company has seen a 40% increase in bookings for holidays in 2013 from US customers.
This comes at a time when search volume figures from the last six years show a substantial decline of around 70% in Tuscany and Italy villa rentals (and related search terms) in the US.
Simon Ball, managing director at Tuscany Now, said: "Considering the uneasy economy of the last few years, it's no surprise that interest from the US in holidays to Italy has significantly declined.
