/EIN Presswire/ -- Today, the Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (
TGTE), initiated a worldwide postcard campaign. This campaign calls on countries to support an International Commission of Inquiry on Sri Lanka. This project's timing coincides with the current UN Human Rights Council Session in Geneva.
This Post card contains the recently released photos by UK's Channel 4 of the 12 year old child Balachndran Pirapakaran. This child was executed by the Sri Lankan Security forces after capturing the child alive (Photo attached: one alive and one post-execution). These photos were taken by Sri Lankan soldiers as war trophy.
The Post Card's front side calls for an International Investigation based on both the U.N. Secretary General's Expert Panel report and the U.N. Internal Review Report. The backside of the card cites statistics and the gist of legal position pertaining to genocide of Tamils.
Definition of Genocide: 1948 Genocide Convention Article II.
Any part of the following acts - with intent to destroy in whole or in part - a national, ethnic, or racial group:
1) Killings.
2) Serious Bodily or Mental Harm.
3) Deliberate Infliction of Condition Calculated to Bring About Physical Destruction
Genocide intent can be inferred from the scale of atrocities. Prosecutor V. Akayesu ICTR 96-4-T.

2) 90,000 Tamil War Widows in East & North: British Foreign & Commonwealth Office on Human Rights and Democracy. (May, 2012).
3) 146,679 People unaccounted for: Bishop Rayappu.
4) Military Occupation in the North: 150,000 Troops. Ratio: 5 to 1 soldier to civilian (TNA). (believed to be the highest in the world).
