- Chino Hills, CA, May 14, 2008, Virginia Sosa, Owner and Artistic Director of Pacific Island Dancers, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of dance instruction and choreography.
Ms. Sosa has 35 years of experience in the dance industry and has been the owner and artistic director of Pacific Island Dancers for more than 10 years. Her areas of expertise include teaching and choreographing various Polynesian and Filipino dance styles. She is responsibile for conducting dance classes, designing costumes, coordinating events and show productions. Prior to joining Pacific Island Dancers, Ms. Sosa has worked as a claims representative with Unified Grocers Insurance Services for 25 years.
In addition to industry-related training, Ms. Sosa received her Bachelor of Arts in Business from Loyola Marymount University in 1976. She attributes her success to her diligence, hard work, the support she receives from her family and passion for her profession.
