-- Wanda M. Ralph, Administrative Assistant for Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in nonprofits.
Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat is a nonprofit organization that speaks on the behalf of all First Nation chiefs for Atlantic Canada. Ms. Ralph's areas of expertise include strategic planning, economic development, social media, research and community outreach.
Ms. Ralph has been in the administrative field for eight years, including two years as an administrative assistant for Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat. On a day-to-day basis, Ms. Ralph organizes advisory committee meetings and researches projects to benefit communities. Her other responsibility involves managing and maintaining a database for Aboriginal Sharing of Knowledge on Aboriginal Economic Development (ASK-ECDEV). Prior to joining Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat, Ms. Ralph worked as a clerk for the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility and the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. Dedicated to her work, she became involved in her profession because she experienced living on a First Nation reservation.
A single mother raising two kids, Ms. Ralph received a degree in paralegal studies from Nova Scotia Community College. Her other educational credits include extensive industry-related and computer certifications. In the coming years, Ms. Ralph expects to grow in her professional development.
