Warwick Boudoir Share 10 Tips to Prepare for Your Holiday Boudoir-Style Photography

Learn how to make the most of your boudoir photography session with these tips from Warwick Boudoir.

HOUSTON, TX, December 19, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Houston pinup photography studio Warwick Boudoir wishes to share its top tips to prepare for your upcoming holiday boudoir photography session.

The most important thing that the Houston boudoir photography experts at Warwick Boudoir want their clients to do to prepare for their holiday boudoir shoot is to be comfortable in their own bodies. When you feel comfortable in your skin, you look your most beautiful. Here are more tips to make the most of your photo shoot.

Looking Your Best
You can improve your overall look before your photography session by eating well and drinking lots of water before your shoot. Hydrating and healthy nutrition encourage your skin to look its best.

Don't try to look too differently from your everyday, as that's who your partner fell in love with, but do wear a gel deodorant for your shoot. White chalky deodorant looks bad in photographs.

When you come to your session, wear loose clothing. Lines from bras, panties and other tight clothing do not fade from your skin quickly and they can make your shoot more difficult. One great tip is to wear a button-down shirt to avoid messing up your hair and make-up.

Working the Camera
Warwick Boudoir encourages its clients to arrive to their sessions early to give themselves time to relax and become comfortable in the setting.

You will want to bring lots of outfit options, shoes included. The Houston boudoir photographers at Warwick Boudoir recommend a minimum of five different outfits.

Share any poses and pictures that you like with your photographer, but be open to suggestions as well.

"Our experienced photographers can help you to create the looks you love because they know which angles and poses are flattering for you," says Sheryl Warwick, Owner & Lead Photographer of Warwick Boudoir.

Play music during the shoot to keep yourself comfortable and feeling natural. Another way to feel comfortable is to bring a friend along with you. They don't need to be in the room while you're doing your shoot, but they can help to calm your nerves beforehand.
