When questioned about the announcement Bill Watson, Weymouth Distributing's General Manager said "We are very happy to once again, be the exclusive distributor for Automatic Products in Southern California, we have built our reputation on the Automatic Products brand; so, to be rewarded with the exclusive distribution rights is a great triumph for us." In 1949 Al Weymouth became the first distributor for Automatic Products. Over the next 5 decades Mr. Weymouth was an integral part of Automatic Product's success and took great pride in his role as an industry pioneer. The vending industry today bears little resemblance to the industry Mr. Weymouth knew when he passed away in 1996; but one thing still holds true, Weymouth Distributing is still the premier vending machine distributor in California.

In addition to selling Automatic Products throughout the state of California (exclusive distributor in Southern California), Weymouth Distributing also sells Dixie Narco, AMS, Vendo, Coinco, MEI, Fastcorp, VE Global Solutions, and Rock-Ola. Weymouth Distributing has been enjoying some great recognition as of late; in 2006 Bill Watson was named Supplier of the year by the California Automatic Vendors Council, in 2007 Weymouth Distributing celebrated their 50th anniversary, and just recently Mr. Watson served as Expo Chairman for the 2008 NAMA Spring Expo in Las Vegas.
