Wilbur T. Hill, DO, FACOFP Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Osteopathy

Dr. Hill attends medical seminars as well as annual conventions hosted by the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons

Hill, DO, FACOFP has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the practice of osteopathic family medicine and will be featured in Cambridge Publishing's Top 101 Industry Experts book due to be released in the summer of 2009. After an illustrious 50-year career dedicated to treating patients with musculoskeletal health issues by utilizing a holistic approach that values humanity and individuality over medical advancement, Dr. Hill retired. But, his idea of retirement did not leave much room for relaxation. He continues to consult in the evaluation of internship and residency training programs for the American Osteopathic Association, ensuring that interns maintain good attendance records and understand the basic principles of the osteopathic profession. Dr. Hill also attends medical seminars as well as annual conventions hosted by the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. He attributes his success and longevity in the medical field to his background, extensive knowledge and experience.

Dr. Hill earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, A.T. Still University. He is former president of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, a member of the American Osteopathic Association, and a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He received a Distinguished Fellow Award from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and a Physician of the Year Award from the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons.

He intends to continue to ensure that training programs are in accordance with the American Osteopathic Association's rules and to encourage young interns to be faithful to their professions.
