William 'Bill' Kaler Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who as a Professional of the Year for Excellence in Nonprofit Operations Management

    Islip, New York, December 5, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William 'Bill' Kaler, vice president, treasurer and moderator for WeatherFun, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Nonprofit Operations Management. While inclusion in the Worldwide Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Mr. Kaler has 14 years of experience in his current position, with expertise in finance oversight. Previously he spent 33 years working for the New York State Office of Mental Health, identifying the emotional health needs of children and making recommendations for treatment or support. In his current multi-faceted role for the nonprofit weather reporting company, he is responsible for short-term forecasting, updating the website and approving new members.

Mr. Kaler received a master's degree in social studies from Adelphi University and a bachelor's degree in education from Adelphi Suffolk (now Dowling College). He is a member of the Setuck Environmental Association. In 2010, Mr. Kaler was inducted as a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. Earlier in 2012, he was distinguished as a Professional of the Year for excellence in his field.
