William Reynolds, RN, Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Health Care Services

    Columbus, Georgia, December 7, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William Reynolds, RN, nurse manager, and director of dialysis and hemodialysis for St. Francis Hospital, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care services.

Mr. Reynolds fulfills multiple responsibilities at St. Francis Hospital. As a nurse manager, he supervises medical-surgical renal, chemotherapy and stroke nursing; he also ensures that staff members remain accredited, manages clinical duties, serves as a preceptor for students, and educates patients and families. As director of dialysis and hemodialysis, he manages contract nurses and ensures that equipment and water are safe to use for treatments. His 16 years of experience enable him to effectively manage all these tasks and more, as he also handles negotiations, staffing, payroll, evaluations, trainings and other human resources duties.

In addition to gaining expertise as a nurse manager, Mr. Reynolds has also completed 27 years of military service. He currently serves in the National Guard and has done so for 10 years. He has also served as an active-duty U.S. Army human resources technician, and was deployed to Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. Mr. Reynolds was a sergeant when he left the Army, and is now a chief warrant officer III. He works with a military academy in Alabama to test potential warrant officers.

Mr. Reynolds is pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Phoenix. He obtained an associate of science in nursing from Southern Union State Community College in 1995 and, since 1996, has been a registered nurse. His numerous professional certifications include basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, water treatment in nephrology, and medical-surgical nursing. He is a member of The Officers' Association, West Central District Organization of Nurse Leaders, Georgia Organization of Nurse Leaders and Georgia Stroke Professional Alliance. Earlier in 2012, Ms. Reynolds was recognized as a Worldwide Who's Who VIP member. Looking ahead, Mr. Reynolds intends to earn a master of science in nursing, particularly in administration, and obtain a promotion.
