Prior to starting Nutritional Consultants of CA, Mr. O'Connor worked as a regional sales manager with Abbott Alternate Site Care Division handling medical devices, general manager for sales and operations at Critical Care America, director of managed care marketing at HCR Manor Care, area director of US managed markets in the Midwest at Sanofi-Aventis, and as an area director of managed markets at Daiichi Sankyo.

He attributes his success to the relationships he developed while working in sales in the health care industry. Mr. O'Connor received his MBA in health administration from Concordia University, and his bachelor's degree in business management from La Salle University. In addition, Eric has also completed graduate courses in pharmaceutical management at Rutgers University. He is a member of the American Academy of Healthcare Executives, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, American Management Association, and American Society of Training and Development. Eric also served his country for eight years in the US Air Force both on active & reserve duty. In five years, Mr. O'Connor would like to retire while continuing to do consulting work and public speaking.
