/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Linda M. Gambardella, a tax accountant and licensed real estate broker in self-proprietorship, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Accounting. Ms. Gambardella is a tax accountant and licensed real estate broker based in Suffern, N.Y. With more than 30 years of experience in finance and real estate, she began her career as a private industry accountant before starting her own tax practice and brokerage. An expert in negotiations, she is known in the industry for fortitude in tackling tough issues and challenges whereby other professionals may fail.
Attributing her many years of success to treating everyone equally, Ms. Gambardella's professional achievements have been recognized by the Delta Mu National Business Honor Society. In 2008, she was also chosen by the United States Treasury Department to join the national Taxpayer Advocacy Panel; she served until 12/31/11. As area chair of the TAP, she worked on behalf of taxpayers, identifying issues and making recommendations for improvements in Internal Revenue Service customer service. Ms. Gambardella considers herself a role model for her three children. She was an adjunct professor for 12 years at a handful of colleges.
Ms. Gambardella received an MBA in finance in 1996 from STAC, with Distinction. She is a registered tax accountant and a licensed real estate broker. She is a member of the Association for Tax Professionals, Delta Mu Delta and the National Association of Tax Professionals. Ms. Gambardella has been selected by Worldwide Who's Who for the distinction of Top Female Executive.
