Under the influence of her aunt, who was a pediatrician, Ms. Elson became involved in the health care field. With 35 years of experience in dentistry and oral surgery, she makes an outstanding dentist. As an expert in extraction, surgery and restorative dentistry, she is responsible for taking care of crowns, bridges, removable dentures, extractions and teeth whitening. She also provides root canal treatment, inlays and onlays, digital x-rays, intraoral camera, rotary endodontics and extraction site bone preservation services. She attributes her success to her continuing education, persistence and passion.
Ms. Elson completed a General Practice Residency at the Stony Brook University Hospital in 2011 and received a DDS from New York University's Advanced Placement Program in 2010. She completed a Residency in Oral Surgery from Tbilisi Medical University in 1986 and acquired a DDS from Dnepropetrovsk Medical Institute in 1977. She maintains affiliations with the Suffolk Dental Society, the NYS Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Endodontics, the American Academy of Periodontology, the National Association of Professional Women and the International Academy of Periodontology. She has received many comprehensive dentistry awards from New York University. In her spare time, she volunteers with Give Kids a Smile. Looking ahead, she intends to expand the practice and hire more dentists.
