Ms. Williams also writes about compelling and true to life experiences which is exhibited in her award winning book "Me And My Father's Shadow: A Daughter's Quest and Biography of Ted Lewis, "The Jazz King". She writes about her father who was a late famous musician-entertainer, who she discovered was her biological father 20 years ago. The book recently won the Irwin Award as "Entertainment Book of the Year" by the Book Publicists Association of Southern California. Her philosophy is quality books for quality time.
To keep abreast of issues within her industry, Ms. Williams is affiliated with numerous associations including the Phi Delta Gamma: Graduate Scholarship Honorary Disciplinary Organization, Society of Professional Journalists and the National Press Photographers Association. For her diligence, she has received numerous awards including Honorable Mention from First International Nikon Photography Contest and first place in the American Legion Oratorical contest. Ms. Williams has also been featured in Profiles magazine as a Top Female Executive.
In her spare time, she enjoys photojournalism, photography and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
