BELMONT, CA, June 7, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beth Clements, Analyst for the EHR in the Training Department of the University of California, San Francisco, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Health Care. Ms. Clements began working as a certified emergency medical technician specialist and firefighter in her late 30s. After receiving her degree as an RN, she worked the night shift in the emergency room of a level 2 trauma center, and became the night shift preceptor and a relief charge nurse. These experiences led her to assume a position as an informatics clinical liaison, further preparing her for her current role as an Epic Credentialed Trainer, training physicians to utilize the Electronic Health Record at the University of California, San Francisco. Ms. Clements' work entails utilizing her expertise in assessments and clinical documentation to serve as a clinical liaison and provide training through a consulting service. She considers her success to be a result of her tenacity, having gone into professional training after a five disk cervical fusion.

In 2000, Ms. Clements earned an associate degree and her designation as a registered nurse from Finlandia University. She hopes for continued professional growth in the years to come. When Ms. Clements isn't busy with her career, she enjoys painting with oils and pastels.
