The highest recorded sale was a $40 million dollar Malibu celebrity estate. Additional recent sales include a $33M Beverly Hills estate, and a $30M Brentwood compound.
Greg Moesser, an Estates Director with Christies affiliate Hilton Hyland reported that the Los Angeles mega luxury market is in such high demand, that recently, two Beverly Hills estates, one listed at $33M, and another listed at $15M, each sold well over a million dollars over the asking price!
The Los Angeles luxury real estate market continues to be regarded as a strong value, especially when compared to other cosmopolitan cities, such as Manhattan, New York and Paris.
