Patricia Walsh Helped Students Achieve Success

Patricia Walsh is a retired special education teacher who attributes her success to her love for working with special needs children.



    EAST TROY, WI, May 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia Walsh, a retired special education teacher, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of special education.

With 25 years of professional experience, Patricia Walsh specialized in consulting, teaching special education to kindergarten through sixth-grade students, working individually with students and helping them to achieve success and mentoring other teachers. She retired as a teacher and technology resource coordinator and attributes her success to her love for working with special needs children.

Ms. Walsh received her Master of Education in Professional Development and her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She also completed post masters credits in educational technology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Institute for Graduate Studies, Silverlake College and the University of St. Thomas. She is a member of the Wisconsin Education Association Council, Phi Kappa Phi, The Reading Institute, the Association for Direct Instruction and the National Education Association.
