Estefania Viana Furr has 33 years of professional experience, 30 of which have been in her position at South Middle School. At her post, she specializes in teaching special education and managing administrative duties. She is responsible for managing students with special needs and collaborating with general education teachers, parents and administrators to ensure successful inclusion for at-risk students. In addition to her work at South Middle School, Ms. Furr is a part-time manager for the Fairlane Club in Dearborn, Michigan, where she supervises the athletic department—a post she has held for 10 years. She received her Master's Degree in Special Education from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, her Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan and a clinical and macro license in social work from the state of Michigan.
