Carpets to include antique and semi-antique orientals including a palace-sized open field Persian from a Rye estate.

Fine art includes three Old Masters from local estates, horse racing prints signed by Richard Stone Reeves, a signed midcentury modernist plaque, watercolors by Judy Gold, a possibly 18th C. watercolor of a courting couple, a c.1850 oil portrait of Ida Harvey, a marble bust of a girl by Angiolo Malavolti, and other works being catalogued.

Of special interest are a set of antique ink and wax seals, including an example with rotating gemstone cameos, strongly contrasted with a pair of Cheryl Wagner decorative sinks from a Fifth Avenue estate.

Founder and owner Ronan Clarke comments "Great estates have small and large pieces worthy of great museums - the oriental carpets; gilt bronze sconces, chandeliers, and lamps such as the blackamoor pair; unusual jewelry; and fine antique Italian and Midcentury Modern furniture. The difference at Clarke is that you can walk on the carpets, try on the jewelry, sit in the chairs, and take them home Monday night. .

Onsite Previews Sat-Sun-Mon, August 8-9-10, 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm
