See a Morso Stove in Your Home: Interactive Online Tool Enables Interior Design Exploration

The Interactive Online Tool on Morsona.com makes it easier for homeowners and design professionals to narrow down their woods stove choice and to really see how a Morso cast iron stove looks in their home.

PORTLAND, TN, November 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Buying a wood stove is much like buying furniture. Future owners want to make sure they choose a model that accentuates their interior home design and lifestyle. To make the stove selection process easier, Scadinavian stove manufacaturer Morso has incorporated an interactive virtual living room into their website. This new high-tech imagery tool allows homeowners, architects, and interior designers to see different stove styles, forms, and sizes in the actual living space.

"Holding up a brochure or magazine picture to see if it's the right design, is totally different than seeing the stove in your room," explains Morso US President Craig Shankster. "Morso wants to make it easier for homeowners to narrow down their choice and to really see how a Morso cast iron stove looks in their home."

To access this stove in your home virtual living room, go to www.morsona.com and click on the orange SEE the stove in your home box or paste http://www.morsoeusa.com/The-stove-in-your-home-555.aspx into your tool bar. Then follow the easy steps below:

1. Upload your image - Take a digital picture of the area where you plan to install the new stove. For best results, set your camera on landscape mode. If you don't have a digital image handy, Morso has a choice of six inspirational room images.
2. Choose your favorite Morso stove - Find your favorite stove and play with the size and location. Just click on a stove and drag it into your room image. To adjust size, click the scale box above the room and slide the bar to make larger or smaller.
3. Save Image or Print- You can save the image on your computer or print it out. If you want to change backgrounds, just click on the background box to be brought back to the six room choices provided.

In addition to quality and design, energy-efficient performance that has an impact on the environment, as well as the amount of wood burned each season is an important feature to consider when purchasing a new wood stove.

All Morso stoves meet; even surpass the strictest environmental standards in the world, including EPA and Norwegian Standard NS 3058/3059 for the lowest particulate emissions. This is important to customers who are green-wise or looking to take the bio-mass energy tax credit.

All Morso models have achieved the required thermal efficiency rating to qualify for the 30% (up to $1500) consumer tax credit for the purchase and installation of a 75% efficient stove.
