Carl Donnelly hails from London and was awarded the gongs for Best Newcomer at the 2009 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and Best Breakthrough Act at the 2009 Chortle Awards. His work has been praised by the likes of the Leicester Mercury, Fest, Broadway Baby and the Guardian.

Mark Billingham is an internationally-recognised crime fiction writer from north London and his 2001 novel Sleepyhead became a bestseller in the UK. He is formerly a television writer and actor and still occasionally performs as a stand-up comic.
