An inspirational story; failure to come to terns with the anger and resentment held toward his absentee father, Joseph Woodley turned from his values and onto a course of self destruction. At the most hopeless place in life he finds hope and healing.

COLUMBUS, OH, April 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joseph B. Woodley is elated to announce his newest publication, When The Prodigal Son Becomes The Father: Recognizing the Past, Reclaiming the Future is a real-life, inspirational story. Stemming from his failure to come to terms with the anger and resentment he held toward his absentee father, Joseph Woodley turned from his values, his faith in God and the Church, and onto a course of self- destruction which resulted in a broken marriage, womanizing and even going to jail. At the most hopeless place in life he finds salvation, spiritual and psychological healing, deliverance and comfort through faith and in becoming a single parent himself.

This book is for men, women and couples. Interwoven throughout the book are frank lessons about coming to terms with the past and include messages that challenge men to take responsibility as fathers and for families to press beyond their present issues and concerns and to remain consistent and committed to their faith and values. It provokes those who read through the pages to pause and think about why we make the choices we make; remove the binding chains of the past and open the waiting doors to the future and the responsible choices we can make as effective parents.

When The Prodigal Son Becomes The Father is available through www.joseph-woodley.com and amazon.com.
