Wix.com Directs Traffic to Flash Websites with Free Google Adword Setup Service

Wix produced one of the most revolutionary website builders on the market. Now, Wix premium users can have GoogleAds designed for their websites at no additional charge.

NEW YORK, NY, April 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- High-tech start-up Wix.com was established in 2005, with company headquarters in New York City and satellite offices in Tel Aviv. Wix is funded by Mangrove Capital Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Benchmark Capital.

Wix's colorful and extremely user-friendly website builder has virtually revolutionized the industry of web design. Internet users can sign up for free user accounts with Wix.com, and immediately start building their own websites using one of Wix's brilliant Flash templates. Users can then customize the templates using the graphic-based platform of the website builder. What makes Wix such a strong competitor in a burgeoning industry of web editors is the search engine compatibility of each Flash website created with Wix. Flash is notorious for being unrecognized by search engines, but xml files are built into each Wix website that "feed" HTML code into search engine crawlers, enabling the sites to be indexed by Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Ask.com, etc.

To assist Wix users with building traffic toward their websites, Wix launched a promotional campaign earlier this month offering free $75 vouchers for Google ads to yearly premium users who signed up for specific premium packages. With Google AdWords, web users can create simple yet effective ads that appear on the right side of a search result's page in Google. This is an extremely powerful way to gain traffic to one's website, if done correctly.

Wix is now offering to set up these users' Google AdWord accounts for them, free of charge. Each day, users who upgrade their free website account to one of the qualifying premium packages are sent an e-mail with a link to an application form for the setup service. Information is entered into the form about the user's business, target market, keyword suggestions and geographical preferences. The form is submitted for approval by the Wix AdWords Setup Team, who then sets up a Google AdWords account for that user. Then, the user receives notification of the account set-up, and once he/she enters in the free voucher code and billing information, Wix's team of SEM experts creates the ad, and publishes it. The ad is then monitored by Wix for 72 hours, during which necessary adjustments are made to keywords and/or biddings.

This service is extremely useful to users not familiar with the Internet advertising model PPC (Pay Per Click). In this model, advertisers pay only when their ad is clicked. Ads created with irrelevant or vague keywords could result in unintentional or misguided clicks, which cause the advertiser to pay for dead-end clicks. The Wix team avoids this with careful keyword research, taking into account the cost of competitive keywords.

Additional support and information is provided about this service, at the Google AdWords Learning Center. Part of Wix's wiki support website, this Learning Center includes video tutorials and information about maintaining one's AdWords account.
