Vutronics Introduces a Smart Signal Conditioner Designed to Improve Accuracy and Stability of LVDT and RVDT by a Factor of 20:1

When higher accuracy is desired, LVDTs and RVDTs need to be compensated in a similar manner to how sound equalizers work for auditoriums. In other words, the smart electronics reduce systemic errors such as non-linearity and thermal stability.

HAMPTON, VA, April 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When higher accuracy is desired, LVDTs and RVDTs need to be compensated in a similar manner to how sound equalizers work for auditoriums. In other words, the smart electronics reduce systemic errors such as non-linearity and thermal stability.

LVDTs and RVDTs are used in servo loops that control flying surfaces, ailerons and rudders of most jumbos such as Boeing 747, 777, Airbus A350, A380 and XWB350. Instrumentation errors can cause an aircraft to search or zig zag from point A to point B... thus wasting fuel.

It is a well-known fact that GPS devices in cars save fuel. The same principle applies to jumbo aircrafts', ships' and submarines' navigation control systems.

- All tires are slightly different; they have to be individually balanced on the rim to avoid unwanted vibrations.
- LVDTs or RVDTs have production variances, but a Smart SC can narrow the gap.

At Vutronics our mission is to constantly strive for excellence. We can keep planet earth greener by using better sensor technology.
