SPRINGBORO, OH, May 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Step aside Martha Stewart. A new service from Color Savvy Systems gives everyone the expertise to pick perfect paint colors for their home.

Color Savvy launched its new Online Color Advisor today at www.greatpaintcolors.com. The Online Color Advisor is an interactive tool that suggests specific paint colors after asking a series of multiple choice questions about the space that's being painted and what the homeowner is trying to accomplish.

"Paint comes in thousands of colors," says Gary Bodnar, CEO of Color Savvy, "which is both a blessing and a curse. It's wonderful to have so many choices, but it can be overwhelming when it comes time to pick one."

The Advisor can virtually eliminate the uncertainty about which paint color to choose and make suggestions way better than any neighbor, mother-in-law, paint contractor or kid at the paint store. "Answer 5 questions, get 5 great suggestions," promises Bodnar.

Designer Result on a DIY Budget
Lot's of people rely on advice about "this year's hot colors" or a particular designer's collection of fashion colors. But the hot colors and the designer's collection may not be the best choices.

The Advisor makes individualized color recommendations that are custom tailored to the space and the wishes of the homeowner. It combines the science of color with decades of research about color harmony and input from a multitude of designers.

"The cool thing about the Advisor," reports Bodnar, "is that it's modeled after an actual consultation with an interior designer. It takes into account things like the amount of natural light and how much impact the homeowner wants the paint to have, just like a designer would."

Where to Find It
The Color Advisor can be used for free at www.greatpaintcolors.com. No registration is required, and the site is filled with other free tools and information for anyone that wants to learn more about the dos and don'ts of picking home decor colors. The Advisor is currently configured to suggest Sherwin Williams paint colors, and other paint brands will be added based on user feedback.

What's the catch? Color Savvy hopes that once people see how well the Advisor works, they'll come back and buy the company's Color-Helper (TM) tool which contains the same technology as the Advisor, but customizes the results even more by reading in the colors that are already in the space.
