Directus Announces the Appointment of a New National Sales Manager as Sales of their Innovative Navigation Mirror System Grows and New Products are Planned to be Released at the 2010 SEMA Show

With aggressive growth in the first quarter of 2010, and no signs of the momentum slowing down for Q2 and beyond, Directus Navigation makes a strategic move by hiring a top level industry executive.

LINDEN, MI, June 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Directus (a division of Tatmar LLC), an industry leader in 12 volt Automotive Technology, announces the appointment of Dennis Hopper as National & International Sales Manager.

Mr. Hopper is responsible for developing and managing all Directus partners throughout the United States and the planned international dealer expansion. He is also assisting with current and new product development that will be released later this summer and at the 2010 SEMA show in November. This includes some very innovative automotive grade entertainment systems, new mirror systems and software solutions that provide integration of entertainment, GPS and consumer electronics products. "We are delighted to have Dennis joining the Directus executive team," commented Brad Chapple, Tatmar's CEO. "With his vast industry experience, we are confident that he will be a major asset in helping us build our growing company and brand." Hopper is a 22-year automotive mobile electronics veteran with knowledge in retail and OEM sales, manufacturing, design and distribution of automotive consumer electronics.

Dennis started his career back in the mid-80s as a Sales Manager for an expeditor company based in South Florida. In the 90s he held positions as Eastern Regional Manager for Sanyo Fisher Mobile, General Manger for Jo-Di's, a 10 store chain based in Hartford, CT, and a Regional Manager for Sound Advice. He has in depth experience working for wholesale distributors, including Audio America in Florida (one of Florida's largest and oldest distributors.) Over the last three years Hopper has been a key player with two start-up companies, 1 Off Rides, a custom high-end shop with partner William Fonseca and Florida Marketing Group, a manufactures representative company. He has been awarded the last two years as "Outstanding Performance Rep" from Audison/Hertz in the Florida territory.

Directus has had steady growth over the last 9 months. The Directus Navigation Mirror System has been well received by our reps, expediters, new and used car dealers and the end users. Directus takes on a unique approach compared to many other 12 volt companies. "We have a strict policy of not publishing our prices. This allows for everyone involved in selling our system to make money and avoids the common, Race to Zero Dollars, that most experience in this industry. We support our reps and dealers and want everyone to make money and be confident not only in the product itself, but in the company as well," stated Frank Rogers, Chief Financial Officer.

"The TD-40 TOUCH GPS rear-view mirror system is a quality product and our pricing reflects this. We have taken the time and the energy to make sure that our product is 100% legit. There are a lot of copycat products being released with poor quality and even worse utilizing pirated software, including the Windows CE operating system and map data. Our software is 100% official, with a Microsoft CE license and certified Maps by Nav N Go. So no matter where you are in the world, you know that you will never have to question our company on why you cannot update your maps from Nav N Go or software from Microsoft," said Donnie Zaney, Chief Technology Officer for Directus.

Directus, a division of TATMAR, LLC, is a partnership led by two separate groups: one with knowledge and experience in the 12-Volt Industry and the other with extensive experience in product development and manufacturing. With a combined industry knowledge and experience of over 60 years across both continuum's, Directus is dedicated to bringing quality products to market that are not only cutting edge consumer-driven, but are also streamlined for easy installation. Directus Navigation employs a team of engineers, testers and developers throughout the United States and South-East Asia, providing for unrivaled support and continuous refining of product design and performance.
