PARIS, FRANCE, August 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- An array of concerts in spectacular settings has been planned as part of the Festival d'Ile de France, which takes place in venues across Paris throughout September and October.
In total, around 30 live performances are planned for the event, which gets underway on September 5th and runs until October 10th.
Paris hotel guests with diverse musical preferences should find they are well catered for by the festival, with the organisers revealing that world, jazz, classical and electronic music will all play their part.
However, what makes the Festival d'Ile de France a truly unique event is the variety of venues that these performances will take place in.
Gigs will be staged in some of Paris' most impressive heritage buildings such as churches, old factories, picturesque farms and chateaux, many of which are not usually open to the public.
According to the organisers, the event "makes both musical discovery and the discovery of regional heritage coincide".
A number of acts have so far been confirmed as appearing at the festival, including Viva Argentina, who will play the opening show at the Chateau de Villarceaux in Chaussy on September 5th.
Tickets for this performance - which starts at 12:30 local time - are priced at between EUR6 and EUR12 (GBP5 and GBP10).
For more information on this event, visit the Festival d'Ile de France website or contact the organiser on +33 1 58 71 01 10.
