"Back to School" Plastic Surgery Season About to Begin

The office of Dr. Eric Mariotti, serving San Ramon, Danville and Walnut Creek plastic surgery patients, is beginning to see an increase in consultation appointments as summer vacations wind down and kids go back to school.

CONCORD, CA, September 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Summer is winding down, and Dr. Eric Mariotti (www.drmariotti.com) is now seeing an increase in consultation requests at his Walnut Creek area plastic surgery practice. With kids heading back to school, parents are finding that their schedules are freeing up and many are making more time for their cosmetic goals.

"As a father myself, I understand how busy summers can get for parents," states Dr. Eric Mariotti. "Between watching the kids and working, it can be pretty hard to find time for yourself in the summer months. Early fall is when a lot of people start thinking about looking good - particularly for upcoming holiday events."

With summer vacations winding down and kids in school, there is more time to meet with a plastic surgeon for surgical and medical spa cosmetic options. Also, with the kids busy all day, recovery may be easier for parents who have decided to refresh their appearance.

"A good reason for people to consider having a procedure in early fall is that the holidays are still a few months away," says Dr. Mariotti. "That gives my patients enough recovery time to look beautiful for any holiday parties or gatherings."

During this time of year, it's common for women and men to consider cosmetic enhancements for the body, breast/chest, and face. "I would say that, while I still see many women for breast enhancements such as a breast augmentation or breast reduction, body and facial surgery is very popular this time of year. Also, I see a lot of patients who maybe spent a little too much time out in the sun and are looking for a non-surgical way to repair damage and look fantastic."

For patients in the Walnut Creek area, abdominoplasty in particular may be a good procedure to have during the early fall season. This procedure, also known as a tummy tuck, tones and tightens the stomach area and is a popular option for moms after childbirth or for people who have lost a significant amount of weight. Dr. Mariotti also performs a "mini tummy tuck" for people who are primarily concerned with loose tissue below their belly buttons.

Dr. Mariotti adds, "Whatever the procedure, I am happy to help my patients achieve their cosmetic goals. Making people look and feel beautiful is what I find rewarding, and I hope that as patients have a little more free time, they take the time to consider themselves and their cosmetic needs and desires."
