LateRooms.com - Creative Fusion Exhibition Could Appeal to Tenby Visitors

The Pembrokeshire city of St David's will host an arts and crafts event that could attract people from Tenby.

TENBY, WALES, September 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A free exhibition showcasing the creative talents of local people may attract holidaymakers visiting Tenby next month.

Taking place in the Pembrokeshire city of St David's between October 15th and 18th, the Creative Fusion event will offer the chance to browse through a range of products made by craftspeople in south-west Wales.

Guests staying in one of the popular hotels Tenby has to offer could make the trip to St David's if they have an interest in stained glass, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, health and beauty products, photography or painting.

With an atmosphere described by the organisers as "relaxed and friendly", the Creative Fusion show will take place at the City Hall between 10:00 and 17:00 each day.

Craftspeople due to take part in the event include Elissa Hudson, whose hand-stitched bags and patchwork quilts may appeal to some visitors.

Other people involved with Creative Fusion include maker of homemade country preserves Helen Cecil and local artist Sarah Earl, whose paintings are inspired by the landscape of Pembrokeshire.

Famous for the cathedral from which it takes its name, St David's is the smallest city in the UK with a population of just 1,800.

It is situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the surrounding area is popular with walkers, due to its stunning coastal scenery.

For more information on this event, visit the Creative Fusion website or contact the organisers on 01834 811101.
