VENTURA, CA, October 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast has announced the kick-off of its annual Fall Sale Program in partnership with Ashdon Farms to provide ten varieties of delicious nuts and snacks through a pre-order event happening now - booth sales begin November 15th. The Fall Sale Program is held to support Girl Scout troop activities as the new Girl Scout program year kicks off.

"Girl Scout product sale programs are unique in that girls set their troop goals, and girls decide how the troop will apply their earnings toward activities and service projects," said Jax Rains-Turk, Chief Executive Officer of the council. "It's a fun and safe way for girls to earn start-up money for their troop complete with recognitions that celebrate individual efforts."

Girl Scouts will offer the nut/snack products outside participating retail locations throughout the council beginning November 15th-November 28th.
