Tax planning tips for wills and trusts in 2011 will be the topic of a January 26th seminar for the public and a January 27th seminar for attorneys, accountants, and financial planners. Recent tax law changes will be presented by Ms. Spencer.

Both morning seminars will take place at the Eden Resort & Suites.

Business owners, retirees, parents, and other taxpayers will learn how and when to use trusts, guardianships, powers of attorney, medical directives, and insurance ownership under the new tax law.

Professional Seminar
Thursday, January 27, 2011
7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., $35 per person

Accountants, attorneys, and financial planners will learn what the tax law means for their practice. Topics will include:

-- Reunification of estate and gift taxes
-- 35% top rate
-- $5 million exemption for estate, gift and GST tax
-- Modified carryover basis
-- Portability of unused exemptions
-- Exemption amount indexed for inflation in 2012
