2015 Acura TLX Unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, Notes Ferman Acura of Tampa

    TAMPA, FL, June 17, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This year, Acura unveiled its new TLX sedan model in the Big Apple. The luxurious and all-new 2015 Acura TLX, which embodies the automaker's Red Carpet Athlete theme, was unveiled at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. (1)

The 2015 Acura TLX design blends sportiness with a refined and premium luxury style. The model is also available in several trim levels ranging from the TLX, to the TLX V-6, and the TLX V-6 SH-AWD. (1)

As for the sport-oriented aspect of the sedan, the TLX is now 3.8 inches shorter in overall length than the 2014 TL model. Front and rear overhangs are also shorter, and the vehicle is lighter when compared to this year's TL model. The new TLX will offer the option of a technology package for the base model and a technology advance package for the TLX-V-6. (1)

Buyers can also select one of two engines: a 2.4-litre Inline 4 or a more powerful 3.5-liter V-6 that can be equipped with or without all-wheel drive. (1) The V-6 engine that is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission will generate 290-horsepower and 267 foot-pounds of torque. The 2.4-liter engine, on the other hand, is coupled with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission that buyers can also enjoy. (2)

On the luxury side, the 2015 Acura TLX provides consumers with a highly refined interior. While enjoying the cabin, the driver can use features such as Bluetooth, HandsFreeLink, and the Acura Navigation System with 3-D view and seven-inch display, to name a few. (1)
