-- The Auto Remarketing Canada Conference, presented by ADESA and CARPROOF, is an annual event that brings together the Canadian remarketing and used-vehicle industry. The 2016 conference is scheduled for April 4 and April 5 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.
During the two-day event, participants will have the opportunity to network with decision-makers from some of the industry's leading companies, learn from top dealers and executives during a variety of general sessions and workshops, and interact with top automotive companies exhibiting their products and services in a curated expo hall.
Attendance at the Auto Remarketing Conference continues to grow year-over-year, with 2015 setting a new benchmark for both number of participants and size of the expo hall: 735 participants (of which 284 were dealers) and 34 exhibitors. This time around, the expo hall is even bigger due to increased interest and demand.
Preparation for the 2016 Auto Remarketing Canada Conference is well under way, and the conference team is already busy compiling an outstanding agenda full of expert speakers (viewable at http://arcanada.autoremarketing.com/agenda/).
For example, Dealertrack's Michael Collins will present a session titled "Millennials: Changing Automotive Retailing and Lending." Paul Potratz of Potratz Advertising will be a keynote speaker, and the conference will also feature analysis from the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association.
Conference attendees will also be privy to the results of an exclusive benchmark report. Dwayne Furmidge, director Americas at Benchmark Consulting International, will share results from the brand new "Auto Finance Canada: Benchmark Intelligence Report."
During the conference, Auto Remarketing Canada magazine also takes the time to honor deserving leaders in the industry for their contributions to the Canadian used-car industry. Some of these awards include Dealer of the Year, Remarketer of the Year, Remarketing's Under 40, and more. Those recognized will be honored during an awards luncheon at the event.
