Greengrade and LEEDuser Announce Integration Partnership to Improve LEED Process Efficiency

Greengrade clients have one-click access to LEED tips and insights from LEEDuser.

DES MOINES, IA, March 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Greengrade, a collaborative online LEED management software tool that allows project teams to communicate, track, and manage LEED project information, today announced a new feature allowing users to access LEED information directly from LEEDuser. LEEDuser helps certify building projects through the key commercial and institutional LEED rating systems, with tipsheets, checklists, sample documentation and forms, forums, and more.

"LEEDuser is all about saving time and money on LEED projects by providing the insights and help design and construction professionals need, when they need it," said Nadav Malin, president of BuildingGreen, Inc., which produces LEEDuser. "Our integration with Greengrade is a natural fit because just as we provide guidance on how to succeed with LEED, they provide a tool to manage the LEED process. This integration will save Greengrade clients time by allowing them to use information from LEEDuser directly in their projects on Greengrade."

With this integration, Greengrade users further accelerate the LEED process by linking directly to LEEDuser's credit-by-credit guidance to reducing certification hassles. LEEDuser saves time and money by providing advice on how to accomplish each credit requirement with templates and examples, as well as an action checklist for each credit. The result is an online, collaborative LEED management system with one-click access to the LEED content project managers need.

"Greengrade and LEEDuser are great complements to each other. Project team members can find their LEED content on LEEDuser, and then manage the LEED process through Greengrade," said Matt Ostanik, President of Greengrade's parent company, Submittal Exchange. "We hear from design and construction professionals every day who are excited about the emergence of LEED Management Software and the integration of tools like Greengrade and LEEDuser. The increased collaboration makes sense with the rapid rise in LEED projects and the interest in Integrated Project Delivery."

Greengrade is designed for use by anyone charged with the onerous task of managing a complex LEED project - architects, engineers, owners, developers, sustainability consultants. The system helps manage individual tasks, facilitate effective team communication and allow for automatic upload to LEED Online. By allowing users direct access to the extensive LEEDuser content, Greengrade is able to further increase efficiency across the project and for all team members.
